The Researcher Possibly Could Recreate Beer From 1840's


The older age of a bottle of wine, the more expensive. What about beer? Finland researchers believe they can re-create a beer that was existed in 1840.


An ship that estimated sank in 1840 was found near the island of Aland, Finland, in 2010. In these shipwrecks found several bottles of alcoholic beverages that are still in good condition, including the oldest champagne in the world that now have been auctioned, and two bottles of beer.





According to a news released by Reuters, the researchers analyzed that Gold pale color beer. They assume that this beer has a trace of its original flavor and aroma of roses, almond, and clove.

Researchers are also optimistic that they can 'turn' back beer after finding bacteria that live inside of these beer. "Chemical analysis of what we do and the help from experts allow us to make beer just as similar as possible to the original," said Annika Wilhelmson of the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
